Italy, Venice...I am loving that city, its wonderful! Romantic athmosphere is all around there, alot of different kinds of Art, alot of painting and painters are on the streets...!

Paints are so expensive nowadays

Paints are so expensive nowadays, takes billion of bucks to purchase enought of them...But well, to progress, to develop the Art and create new paintings you aint got another way then get more and more colors =)

Is it worth to rent an exhibition hall in art-galleries that offers such services?

It all depends on a certain gallerie. There are galleries who are friendly to painters, their prices are not so high, they offer useful services which helps painter to get important and useful contacts.

Other galleries are opposite side of the question, they are very expensive, they aim on getting money and nothing else then profit. They promise you all the best but at the end most of their promises are never come to life.

The best option to understand which gallerie you want is to talk to the painters who already had an exhibition there or used their services. And of course do it before you actually pay for their services and so on.

Flowers...wonderful flowers...They are one of the most important things in life of every woman, I believe that I am not alone who feel wonderful when seeing beautiful flowers!

I think, the beauty and the inspiration they give me is the key and the reason why am I doing more and more of new paintings of flowers! =)

I am loving this art process, this art work! Its wonderful...!

During my studies at university we've been paying attention to many different painting techniques etc
Petrikivskiy painting is no doubt a good one.
Its so simply looking and so beautiful same time.

Next tip on  "how to become famous painter"

Is it worth spending money on digital reproductions of your paintings?

Well, it worth the money if your name is already widely known and the demand on your paintings are that hight that you are not able to satisfy it by selling original paintings. Or if your original paintings are that expensive that people simply can not afford it.

Mainly people buy reproductions because of the name of the painter, art value of a reproduction is always on the secondary.

People have read about the painter, they heard about him, every friend has his artworks, then it means I also should have it. This is the list of the reasons why people wants to buy painting reproduction.

Keep in mind that when you start producing your own painting reproductions and there are already original paintings on the markey, then you will be competing with yourself.

Remember that people usually wants the best for lowest price.

How to become famous painter Tip #3

Im painting constantly for several years now, I took part in several group exhibitions, organized by local galleries. Isn't it the right time to go big galleries and ask for personal exhibition?

Try to give a honest answer to my question. If you are a part of a music band and your group playing at evenings in local bars and clubs, do you really believe you should be asking Madison Square Garden with an offer of organization a solo-concert? 

The "world of Art" plays by the same rules as anything else in the world. You are climbing up step by step, and not just jump over the floors within a second...

Lets just keep on moving and never give up, so we will surely succeed! =)

I regularly send my paintings to art-galleries but none is interested in it. What am I doing wrong?

If you refer to someone you dont know, to those who dont know you and is not familiar with your art, so there are barely any chances for success. 

Success chance is also not so high if you are trying to get attention to your artworks by huge galleries, because while you are not famous painter yet at least on regional level they probably going to ignore you. 

At the beginning - you should 'create your name' locally, at the region you live and work, it's necessary to look up for contacts with galleries that suits to your paintings, you must be able to explain why you and your paintings should exactly at this gallerie, why would they need you and not somebody else?

How to find an agent who will represent my artworks

What I understood so far is that an "Art agent" - is no more than a myth if you are not very famous yet. Actually art-dealers and art-galleries are the real "art agents" and they are the ones who represent the artist, so these are the ones who you should contact.
There are very few painters who has a personal art agent, representatives, managers or whatever you call them. But still, there are some and usually these painters are already famous, rich and well-known. Thats why they can afford to hire their personal professional art agent who will stay in touch with art-dealers, art-galleries, museums and take care of customers.

Usually I browse alot of internet, books, learn alot from experiences of people I meet on art exhibitions, events, auctions and so on.
There are alot of interesting, important and useful tips you might get from people around you.

Usually if I am interesting on painting something or about some art I usually do my best to visit the place that can inspire me!

Etsy, worth or not?

Any ideas if I shall create my own shop at etsy? hmm Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated! =)

I'll surely try it in few days.

New painting. Another good day full of art!

As I said in one of previous posts, I have started a new painting.

Eventho its raining outside today, I am full of enthusiasm, so I kept on working on the painting.

Georgia Art plein Air, miss you...

I've been to Georgia, there was an Art plain Air and I was invited to take part in it.
People I met there was so friendly, so open, so nice! We tried alot of Georgian native foods - it was wonderful! So tasty, really!

It was really interesting and fun to take part in an international plein Air 'cause I had chance to meet alot of talented people from all around the world, to learn from them and to share my thoughts and experiences! =) Painting was unbeliavable cool when you're in an athmosphere of all the talented and nice people! =)

Miss you Georgia...I will surely visit you again!
